When installing the CRM 3.0 desktop client , the MS installer raises an error
which states that the correct OL version cannot be determind? Funny however, it installed correctly on my laptop, so the laptop client works on OL2k7 beta 2. What can be done to get the CRM 3.0 desktop client up and running on OL2K7 beta 2? Or is this config not supported? -- Ron J.Buitenhuis Microsoft System Engineer |

It's apparently not supported. You'll need to wait for an update to CRM.

Thanks for your answer, however why is it that the laptop client install
didn't give me any problems? Here the situation whas the same. Ergo OL2K3 installed and upgrade Off2k7full performed! Okay I know there are some differences off course between the desktop client and the laptop client (replication) but why did it install on the latop without a problem, and gave me these error when installing on the desktop? What I will try today is following: 1: deinstall Of2K7 (reboot off course) 2: install Off2K3 (reboot) 3: install CRM desktop client (test it) 4: perform update Off2K7 again 5: post the result here -- Ron J.Buitenhuis System Engineer "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: It's apparently not supported. This is what came out , You won't believe this one.....
After all the steps I stated earlier, IE7 beta 2 (which) worked perfectly before, bugged like crazy on me, couldn't get it to work correctly even without add-ins selected. Therefore I deinstalled IE7beta 2. So back to my issue with CRM 3.0 desktop client on OL2K7. I have to thank you Sue, for your eyeopeners on this issue, while looking for more information about this matter I found some information where clearly was stated that MS will provide us with an updated version of MS CRM (Titan v4.0). Ik think I have to invest in some of your books and read about Outlook from a developer point of view! -- Ron J.Buitenhuis System Engineer "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Great! Do you have a URL for the CRM 4.0 info? It would be nice to have so we can pass along to others.
