I'm running XP and have problem to open my Outlook program since it is not
found by my corporate exchange server (2003) . All other features of the Beta like Word are working perfectly. Can you really come up with a solution that works? Silver Surfer |

It works perfectly here with Exchange 2003. How are you trying to connect?

The error I get is 0x80040102.
When I try to repair the Exchange connection, Outlook says encryption is not available for this server, try using an unencrypted connection. That doesn't work too. Other people on the web are also facing the same problem. No one has a solution yet. The only solution that seems to work is uninstall Beta 2 and go back to Technical Refresh or Pre-Release. A quickfix I'm using is to create a second folder called sync. Then using the
web interface moving all the mails to this folder and voila! Folder syncs. Long work around. but it works. ![]() "M@DG33K" wrote: The error I get is 0x80040102. Hi Milly,
After installation of the Beta I've just tried to open outlook as usually-the message I received was long and basically was saying that the connection with exchange server couldn't be done and the suggestion given was that I should tried first to connect with the exchange server separately and then open outlook. Thinking about a conflict between beta and 2003 I have uninstalled 2003. I've tried and it just doesn't work. I've checked the connection settings + authentifications and everything is configured perfectly according to 2003 version. I've download the beta at home and it works perfectly till now so why not in a corporate environment? All the other features are working perfectly but not the essential - Outlook! I'm kinda frustrated to not be able to make it work, any step by step suggestion? Silver Surfer "Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: It works perfectly here with Exchange 2003.
