Here's the message:
"Outlook could not save the updated folder shortcut information. Check to make sure there is sufficient disk space and that the file "filepath\filename" is not marked read-only. Another attempt to save will be made after the next change or when you exit. You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation." I'm running Windows XP and Outlook 2002 with the most recent patches. I recently upgraded from Outlook 98 which I ran for many years w/o problem. I just bought a Dell Axim X51 and the install has created the probelm. I called microsoft and we made a new .pst file for outlook and that worked for a short time but now the error has returned. I think that the old .pst file is probably causing the problem and so I want to completely delete the old file and start a new one. |
