I have two users that have been archiving to reduce their Exchange enabled
mailbox size. One has a 555000 kb folder size and the other has a 1850000 kb folder size. Both are losing emails from various folders in the archive. I have checked the posts here, and they are using the new version of file format, i.e. the Unicode version. Per KB832925 I checked for the Registry Entries that govern MaxFileSize in the noted reg path HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Offi ce\11.0\Outlook\PST but after \policies\Microsoft the \Office\11.0\Outlook\PST path doesn't exist. Any ideas about how to continue to troubleshoot this issue? Many thanks, Duncan Pope |

Do they have their archive folders also set up for AutoArchive? Not a good idea.

Hmm. Ok, so if I understand correctly, the Auto-Archive setting is universal
for all folders in Outlook. I have shut Auto-Archive off on the affected users. I hope that this will solve the problem. How may I automate archiving for everything except the Archive folders? Thanks for your help! It is really appreciated. Duncan "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Do they have their archive folders also set up for AutoArchive? There's no automation involved. Each folder can have its own autoarchive settings.
