My Outlook 2002 / Windows XP installation has got into a state where all
previous email accounts set up under Outlook or Control Panel/Mail have been deleted, but now I can't add any new ones. In both Outlook or the Control Panel/Mail thingy I can navigate to the 'E-mail accounts' dialog, where you're offered to add new or change existing e-mail accounts (or add or change directories and address books). But if I select 'Add a new e-mail account' ....then the dialog that appears has all five options for server type greyed out, so I'm unable to progress. Similarly, if I select the option to change an existing account but from that dialog select 'Add...' I've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling Outlook. No joy. Clues, anybody? |
