I own MS Office 2003 All-In-One, full version. I would like to upgrade from
MS Ofiice 2000 Premium which is currently on my computer to MS Office 2003 All-in-One. Keeping in mind that the newer program is the Full install version, what would be the easiest way to install, while still keeping my current settings and configurations? is there a way to install/upgrade without uninstalling all my current programs? Thanks for your input, RichU |

Thanks for your speedy reply!
When the install program uninstalls my 2000 Programs, will it leave all the individually created office files in their respective directories? Will it know to point to these same directories in the 2003 versions? Outlook is my main program. Could the XP settings and migration tool save my Outlook 2000 profile or is it better to (sigh!) just start over from scratch? Does Outlook 2003 use the same PSTs (I use two), rules, etc. that I used in Outlook 2000? Anything else i should know about changing from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003? Thanks again, Diane Poremsky [MVP] wrote: Just install it - it will offer to uninstall the previous version. most of the custom settings will remain - the outlook profile will migrate
to 2003 and as long as you don't get errors, you can use it. But if outlook doesn't seem to be working right, then try a new profile. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "RichU" u23159@uwe wrote in message news:61fb6d2e45a50@uwe...
