Thanks for your responses,
I'm not sure I was clear. I do have the install files for the Outlook 98 Upgrade on my hard drive. It's just that when I start the install, it looks for the setup files on the Internet rather than on my computer. Is there a way(switch perhaps)to tell the setup program that it doesn't need to look on the Internet? Thanks, Steve BillR - MVP wrote: That ended long ago. You can try to contact Microsoft Support and see if they will supply a valid link but I don't like your luck. "Steve" wrote in message ... Hello, Years back I downloaded the files to upgrade Outlook 97 to Outlook 98. When I attempt to use these files to upgrade my current installation of Outlook 97, the program attempts to locate the upgrade files from the Internet instead of from my computer. Of course these files are no longer located on the net and the install fails. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Steve |
