Default How to disable MS Messenger when Outlook is launched

Hello.
There must be a way to disable MS Messinger so it does not automatically
start, when MS Outlook 2003 is launched. I have inspected numerous settings,
also in messenger (so it does not start when windows starts..ect.). If
somebody know how to disable MS Messenger from starting up when Outlook is
launched, I would appreciate it very much.

Best regards, Anders
