Hi,
Run a search for pst files in your computer. These are the datafiles where Outlook stores data. Refer the link below to import the data into Outlook. http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;287070 Thanks, Mittu "SISSCO" wrote: daptop mother board crashes yesterday, was able to have the hard drive downloaded to external hard drive. searched for .pst files. nothing came up. I never backed up my inboxes to
..pst files before. Doesn't outlook save these messages somewhere so I can retrieve them? "Mittu" wrote: Hi, Run a search for pst files in your computer. Do not listen to anyone who tells you to import. You will lose data that way. Instead just reuse the original PST. http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm -- Brian Tillman |

Your Inbox, Outbox, Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, and all other Outlook item data are always kept in a PST. Backup has nothing to do with it. That PST is usually in a hidden folder so unless you enable viewing hiddern files and folders you won't see them. -- Brian Tillman |
