Default Different Versions of MS Office

My old computer's motherboard fried on me last Sunday. So I bought a brand
new computer.
I put the other hard drive from my old computer into my new computer and
made it a slave.
My Microsoft Office 2000 on my old computer worked great and was registered.
The new computer has Microsoft Office 2003 on it and it is a 60 day trial.
I tried to double click on the Office 2000 icon and I get an error message.
“This application is not installed for this user.”. Do you know what I
should do?
I want to keep the older version that I have. I can not remember what I
called the older computer since it was 3 years ago. I can not find my
Install CD. Any help would be great.

You must remove Outlook 2003 and install Outlook 2000.

None of your programs on the slave (old) HD will work unless you reinstall
them.
When you install a program it drops files in various locations, other than
the program folder, and puts entries in the win registry. Since you now have
a new win installation none of these entries / files are available untill
you reninstall.
If you wish to reinstall programs to the same location (slave) you will have
to do a custom installation as by default they will be installed to C:
And no, you wont be able to boot to your old (slave) win installation
