I can't get Outlook 2007 to log on to our exchange server that works just
fine with Outlook 2003. I don't think it can work out the host name. When you have checked it once and it errors it seams not to check anymore.... Anyone had this before? Any ideas on how I can de-bug this? |

Have you tried configuring it manually? What errors?

Yes I have set it up manually.
I get this error, " The action cannot be completed. The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action. " It then brings up a dialog box with the exchange server domain name and the username that I entered in before. If I then click OK 2 times, it then gives me an error of: " Your server or mailbox names cannot be resolved. " I have set Outlook 2007 in the same way I have done with Outlook 2003. Everything works fine with Outlook 2003 and it all worked first time. I have check everything matchs but still no luck. Here are some of the setings: # Used cached Exchange Mode # Auto detect connection state # Ticked Connect to my Exchange mailbox using HTTP # Exchange proxy settings, entered url for proxy server # Mutually authenticate the session when connection with SSL # Principal name for proxy entered # Ticked both "On fast networks," and "On slow networks," # Basic Authentication Any ideas? Are you doing this inside the company's network or outside, over the Internet?

The exchange server is hosting outside by our webhosting company.
