thanks bestonia, that's fab - it works!
philly "Bestonia" wrote: Hi, I had the same problem and just figured it out!! No need to reinstall, just a simple 2 min fix. 1) In Control Panel, open Regional and Language Options 2) On the Regional Options Tab click Customise button 3) Click the date tab 4) At the bottom of the screen, where it says Long Date Format, enter the following: dddd MM yyyy 5) Click Apply/ok and return to windows This will change how MS programs represent long date formats. You can try other combinations, such as, for the date 24 May 2005 dd = 24 ddd = Tue dddd = Tuesday MM = 05 MMMM = May yy = 05 yyyy = 2005 Best of luck. :P |
