Default Why does the pop3 settings keep changing back to "localhost"?

I have an unusual situation where one of the employees Outlook 2003 POP3
server settings keep changing back to "localhost". Of couse, this prevents
her from receiving her email. I've changed this back to the correct settings.
But, once the system is rebooted... Back to the localhost it goes!

The pop3 server is outside of our network.
No one else is having this problem.
The enduser only has user privilieges.

I've seen this before, a long, long time ago. But, I cannot remember what
the solution was.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

It is normally caused by AV or a Firewall setting to scan email before it
comes into the local mailbox. I have seen this issue with any number of AV
packages but most have updated to prevent this problem.
