Default Replying to e-mail when offline

I have installed Outlook with an Exchange account and one POP3 account. I
have no pst file - rather I have incoming e-mail from both accounts going
into the Inbox under the "Mailbox". Since this is on a notebook I need to
be able to peruse and reply to e-mail when I'm not in contact with the
Exchange server. How do I manage this? Will it be necessary to store all
e-mail in a pst file?

Thanks much for any assistance.

David

You might want to look into Cached Exchange Mode:
