why does send/recieve not connect event though the web works
My internet connection is working fine, my computer upstairs that runs
through the same routers works fine with outlook, yet I am unable to setup an account on this computer. I have tried disabling the firewall and all security, yet this still fails to work.

Hi, Thanks for looking at my query,
When I set up a POP3 account I am unable to test the settings, it says that the test was cancelled. When I run send/recieve it simply times out, i have tried extending the timeout to 5 mins however this doesn't make a difference. It doesn't make any sense to me.
