How do I enable the new message envelope to display when new email arrives,
but that email has a rule that sends it to a folder other than the inbox? Currently that is the only time I get any notification that new mail has arrived, if its direct to the default inbox. Would also like to get the preview pane that pops up when new mail arrives to also work with other non-inbox new mail. I am using Outlook 2003. |

You'd have to add something to your rules to display a Desktop alert. Not
sure if you can do anything about the envelope in the tray "Mike" wrote in message ...
