I recently tried to reinstall pfbackup, but had the following problem. My
system thinks it is already installed and ask to unstall the old version, when I click OK it tells me that this only works on installed programs. The outbak.dll is not in the Office 11 directory and the add-in does not show up for adding. I suspect that there is a registry entry that thinks it is already installed. Any Ideas? |

The outbak.dll is not in the Office 11 directory and the add-in does not show up for adding. The file is in the Office10 folder on my PC. In Outlook, click ToolsOptionsOtherAdvanced OptionsCOM Add-Ins. Click Add. Browse to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\AddIns. You should see outbak.dll. Select it and click OK. Click OK, then OK, then OK. Stop and restart Outlook. Check the File menu again. -- Brian Tillman |
