I installed Outlook 2007 beta and have been impressed with all the features,
except that I don't seem to be able to run Outlook 2007 without a mail client defined (as I use other software). I do use outlook for my contacts and appointments and synchronise with AOL, but since installing Outlook 2007 I have not been able to run the software or synchronise with my windows mobile 5 device! Any solutions? |

Define cannot run the software and cannot synchronize with AOL? Do you get
any error message? You should be able to remove all account froms Outlook as long as you have a pst-file as a default delivery location configured. Install ActiveSync 4.2; this one most definitely works with Outlook 2007. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more ----- "Worldtraveller2" wrote in message ... I have a valid .pst file from Outlook 2003, and when I first opened Outllok
2007 it warned me that i should either configure a mail client either now or before continuing to use outlook. Now when I try and open Outlook 2007 it crashes everytime and sends an error report to microsoft ![]() "Roady [MVP]" wrote: Define cannot run the software and cannot synchronize with AOL? You mean a mail account? A mail client is a program that handles mail like
Outlook. You need to be more specific when you are trying to report an issue. What is the exact error message? What is logged to the Event Viewer? -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more ----- "Worldtraveller2" wrote in message ...
