Default MSOL2000 - Importing .pst from IMO setting to Workgroup setting

On my new computer I installed my Outlook for Group settings. My old computer
had Outlook set up as "Internet mail only." (I think that's what the
Self-Support was calling it)

I copied & pasted outlook.pst and archive.pst from old computer to new
computer as instructed. So now I have all folders, all the email I kept in
each folders, all the incoming and outgoing mails, and all the tasks.

But there are many things that are not working. Please advise:

(1) "Customize Outlook Today" - I clicked on the button on, but nothing
happens. No windows, no messages, no nothing. I tried re-installing Outlook,
rebooting computer, etc. Nothing has worked.

(2) In my "Contacts" folder, all my contacts exist, including distribution
list. But when composing an email, there is no name appearing on any boxes.
It automatically brought out the email address if I type in certain names,
and because mail program is not search contacts folder, such function is not
working either.

e.g. Click to "To" to open an address book all boxes are empty.

(3) None of my Internet Mail accounts are appearing.

(4) No Rules are showing up the list, hence not working either. I have a
long list of Rules, and I prefer that I iimport them.

I have more problems, but this is to begin with. I spent 4 hours reading
manuals and Self-Support, but I gave up to figure out myself now. Your help
is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Zean E.

Well, okay... I found solutions or the problem solved magically. But #3 and 4
are not solved. If you can help, I'd appreciate it.

Those who are wondering how I solved it, see below:

Although circumstance was competely different, thinking that this ultimately
gives me a same goal of "turning on Customization button", I followed the
solution on following page.

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;820575

It returned me an error with no Outlook Today. So I repaired using my MS
Office software, then did the regedit again, following the same instruction.
Voila, it worked.

I imported .pst file using File Import or Export Import from another
program or file Personal Folder File (.pst) chose the file that I copied
& pasted, and followed the rest of instruction.

It didn't work the first time. So I repaird the software again using MS
Office software. Did the same all over again.

Then I went to Tools Services Addressing and choose "Contacts" for all
the boxes.

Restarted Outlook and it worked.

From recollection OL2k accounts are stored in the registry, thus you have to
set them up again.
There is a workaround if your old PC still functional.
See below for rules and other file locations
