windows desktop search not working
I have windows desk top search on two computers, both of which are running
Office 2007 beta. I had to uninstall on one and reinstall with update for Office 2007 beta and this works well now. However, on my laptop, even though I installed the version for Office 2007 beta, it is still not working. When I look at the Indexing Options in the Control Panel, I get a "waiting for status "message which just stays there. Also, when I check the Options in Outlook, the folders to be searched in Indexing in Search Options are grayed out. How can I activate the search please?
