I recently built a new machine and moved my PST to that box as i have many
times before. The contacts list has always stayed intact. All of my email is there. However, when I click on the address book I get an error that: 'The address list could not be displayed. The contacts folder associated with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or deleted, or you do not have permissions. For information on how to remove this folder from the Outlook Adress Book, see Microsoft Outlook Help." However, the addresses are there. If I pull up an old email and try to add that addressee to my list, it tells me there's already an entry and asks if I want to replace it (and it displays the old entry). I need my adress/contacts list. How do I get this back? |

You haven't lost a thing. Look in your Contacts Folder. What do you see?
Your Contacts, of course. Anytime you change your PST file you must reconfigure your Outlook Address Book Service. I'm sure you know how. I can't tell you because you didn't post your Outlook version. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Cindy" wrote in message m... Nevermind. I got it now.
I deleted the current one. Added a new one. Fiddled with it a bit. And there it was. Thanks!!! "Cindy" wrote in message m... Thanks. Yes, it is there. It is outlook 2002.
