I have been using Outlook 2007 for about 2 weeks now and I love it. However
when I am at home or just off my network with my laptop I cannot use cache mode. I keep getting the following errors. 1) When I open Outlook it asks for my username and password, and since I am not connected to the network it will accept it so I have to hit cancel. The internal Domain name at our company is medtel.com which is the same as our external. So this might be one of the issues. 2) When I hit cancel I get the following error "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. The file c:\documents and settings\...\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook\outlook.ost cannot be accessed. You must connect to your Microsoft Exchange Server computer at least once before you can use your offline folder file." HELP!!!! |

Reset your cache by renaming your ost-file to .old. Connect to the office
and have it rebuild the ost-file. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more ----- "mjxplant" wrote in message ... I have done that more times than I can count. I have also deleted the file
