Default Outlook in image

Nope, the ORK is the way to go. You can set options in the mst-file or
deploy a prf.

Instead of sysprep you might want to consider to create a single CD-based
image and deploy the software by GPO. This would be much eassier to maintain
if you have various hardware configurations. I would only opt for a sysprep
if I had a client base of around 500 and only 3 different hardware platforms
all configured with the exact same software or need to deploy many many
machines really fast. If it is for maintenance (since every now and then it
is just eassier to provide a fresh install than troubleshooting an issue) or
deploying a new machine every now and then only, I would go for a single CD
based image on the RIS server.

I am building an image and have installed Office 2003 on it.
I will be syspreping the image as it will be used for many PC's.
I need to configure Outlook in the image, so that the end-user has nothing
to do, but open Outlook when they log on. (Their credentials for the
Exchange server will already be in place etc.)

How can I achieve this? I'm aware of the Office resource tools, custom
installation wizard etc, but can that be used for what I need, or is that
only for deploying msi's?

Jo
