Default out tries to send when no message in outbox

Today outlook has starting trying to send when nothing is in the out box. It
asks me for my password twice about every minute. I use 2003 SP2. My
spyware and virus programs have not detected anything but I am concerned. Is
there anyway to access what the program is trying to send?

No, it is not under automatic. I just found the solution posted for vio under general questions. I cured it following the directions with Outlook Spy. Thank you for your help.
