Hi,
Recently I have given a notebook to a user (our first attempt at mobile comms!) normally I configure the Outlook (2003) to connect using the LAN. My problem is this, I want the Outlook on the notebook to automatically detect which is the connection that is active, i.e. when the user is plugged into the LAN it uses the LAN, when the user is on the road it uses the Dial up account and when the user is home it uses their ADSL. At the moment they have to keep changing the defualt connetion type depending on where they are. Surely Microsoft have made it possible for a user to just press send & receive and not have to mess around with setting. What am I doing wrong??????????? Tia |
