Default My Outlook 2003 will not allow me to set up a POP email account.

I have previously been on a DSL line and had POP email accounts set up and
they worked. Now I've moved to a cable modem and can't get it to retrieve or
send from my POP email accounts. I've been to the MS website and the Comcast
website and created POP email EXACTLY like they describe to no avail.

The error message is to verify the port and SSL information (which Comcast
says is correct) for both incoming and outgoing mail.

Suggestions gladly accepted... I'm ready to be done with this mail program.

Jenell

I have a Cable Modem as well. I am having problems using Outlook with my
Gmail account. I find it hard to believe that Outlook would work any
differently with a Cable Modem , but after your post Im starting to wonder.
Im going to set up my account on a Dial up just to see.
Thanks for the Post.
