I have a couple of clients who have client side rules set for their inbox
that are not running automatically. It is an exchange 2003 environment, with users who also contact a POP mailbox from Outlook. There are several rules set for Emails that come from specific accounts to go into a specified folder. ex-Mail received from mailbox1 should go into a mailbox1 folder. Anyways, One user received a new desktop and had his mail configured with all the proper rules. When email comes in, it sits in the inbox until the rules are manually run. When they are manually run, all rules work correctly. One more thing to note, although we do have rules problems with other users, this users laptop is in cached mode and the desktop is not. -- jgarcia |
