outlook 2007

First, Why is it that i can only open my Outlook application once. After I
exit I would have to restart my PC in order to open the application again.
The program does not respond after I exit.

Second, could someone please assist me on how I can either install or
disable to instant search. When I first open OL it asks me to download or
remind me later. I tried fixing the registry as per the response I got before
but it didn't work.

Soemthing is keeping it open See if something here helps:
