Have you configured your outgoing port properly? Try/check this:
In the Outgoing mail (SMTP): box, type 587, then click the Apply button. Let us know if this works. I have no problems yet but I am using Outlook Express. hth zkid wrote: I have successfully created an IMAP connection for a user in Outlook. The AOL messages/folders are all downloading/uploading properly. Here's my problem. Email messages with a couple of users in the To: field are being sent properly. I attempted to send an email to 12 addressees through the account. The message showed up properly in the sent items folder and is not stuck in the Outlbox (no error messages occurred). However, no recipients received the message. I was able to log onto AOL directly and send the same 12 addresses from within its proprietary mailbox. And yes, the names in Outlook are separated by a semicolon (in AOL, the separator is a comma). Has anyone heard of this before, and if so, is there a work-around other than purchasing a third-party app. to turn IMAP into POP3? The theory is that AOL might consider the message to be a worm attempt and disallows it. However, again, no security or error messages arise. Thanks. |
