I know Outlook is capable of retrieving messages from the server on start up
of Outlook, but for some reason my configuration is not allowing that. It is also blocking my request for a '5 mins.' automatic retreival of message. I am forced to retrieve every message by manual request. |

Hi Brian
This is a home PC and the account is a POP. I know I have had this convience on dial ups, dsl and now broadband. I have gone over and over the index, the help sessions and faq's in windows on line and nothing seems to reference this capability. Am I up in the night? Are you saying that in the "Send/Receive Groups" dialogue box you can't check the box labeled "Schedule an automatic send/receive every" and you can't enter a value in the "minutes" field? -- Brian Tillman |
