Default Outlook 2007 "not available" to install

I had the Outlook 2007 beta working; began experiencing problems (due to a
Windows update I think) and uninstalled it. Now ehen I go to reinstall it
downloaded Office Prof. beta file, Outlook has a red X by it and is "not
available". How do I get it available for installation. Running XP home,
non-Exhange environment. TIA.

Is there any previous version of Outlook installed? Uninstall it and try
again.

Thanks, but I already tried that. (In fact, I can't get Outlook 2003 to
reinstall either, so I really need to get this sorted out one way or another)
