Default outlook exits when allowing Norton access to address book..Why?

I have just installed Norton Internet Security 2006...many times when outlook
warns a program is trying to access the addressbook. whether or not ai give
permission for a minute or 5 , upon clicking the answer outlook exits... This
is very aggraviting, as I must reopen outlook several times a day to read my
messages. What can I do?..Norton has been little help after many hours on the
phone wiht their "engineers".
