all clients have outlook 2003 pro and Small Biz... all have service pack 2
installed... and all are configured for cachemode... clients have archiving enabled... becaus ein the past our exchange server had limited storage but now all that has changed. the question is: i have made my own GPO to diable archiving by setting a value to the registry ket DOAGING. However the office resource toolkit has added ADM file in the INf folder which i could use as well... but when i apply that adm file from the toolkit when restricting autoarchive --- the archive menu button in the Tools -- options is gone... is this the way the gpo works...?? -- Goku 316 |

the archive menu button in the Tools -- options is gone...
That's normal and expected behavior. It's part of what disabling archiving by GPO does. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Goku 316" wrote in message ... all clients have outlook 2003 pro and Small Biz... all have service pack 2 installed... and all are configured for cachemode... clients have archiving enabled... becaus ein the past our exchange server had limited storage but now all that has changed. the question is: i have made my own GPO to diable archiving by setting a value to the registry ket DOAGING.
