I installed Office 2007 Pro Beta about two weeks ago. I have an issue with my
Outlook crashing several times a day and often it gets stuck in a loop. Starting the application in safe mode does not help. I also installed IE7 and don't know if that has anything to do with these crashes. I have not found a pattern that enables be to continue working or get it to start back up. Even a reboot does not appear to help. Here is what I have tried: - I have disabled all plugins (I never had the adobe one that seems to get the most attention. -I have closed all PST files -I have created a new mail profile -I hae created a mail profile that does not have caching enabled -I have gone through all of the error reporting and essentially it yields "we know what the problem is we will fix it in the next release." If you know what the problem is can you issue a patch? -disabled e-mail scanning in my anti-virus software (low risk since this is second line of defense anyway) -I have done a repair and a reinstall and neither appears to have helped It is some sort of connection issue because I can have it up and running all day as long as I am not on my corp network or vpn in from my home office. This is of serious concern as we evaluate our messeging options. While I like the many new features of Office and Outlook.... I am not pleased wiht the instability of Outlook. Please let me know of any other suggestions that I may have over looked. |

I should also note that I have run the diagnostic tools with nothing
identified as a problem. Here is the link I get when I click on the link that says how to prevent this from happening in the futu http://oca.microsoft.com/en/response...27dc6&SID=1839 this is getting very very frustrating "Scott Whitten" wrote: I installed Office 2007 Pro Beta about two weeks ago.
