I just set up a new mail box with my ISP Earthlink. I tried to connect
OL2003 to it but I get an error message saying: Task "myISP Receiving" reported error (...). Outlook is unable to connect to connect to the receiving server. Contact your email administrator or ISP. I have no problem connecting Outlook Express. My ISP says it isn't their problem because OE can connect. I am running OL2003 on XP home edition over a wireless router to my cable modem. I have compared all the account fields and the seem to be the same. I have never used OL2993 on this machine before. I am using 'the' default accout profile "microsoft office outlook" configured to match OE. What can I do to get this to work? |
