Default Unable to log onto incoming mail server.

After installing everything in order to begin using my Outlook, and doing the
"test my account settings", I receive one error : "Outlook could not connect
to the incoming POP3 mail server because the server did not accept your user
name or password." I am able to send messages but unable to recieve. My user
name and password are the same ones for my bellsouth email account through my
company. What am I doing wwong?

I have the same issue, and so do many others judging by the many community
comments. So whats the fix. I get error code 0x00CCC92. I keep getting the
sign in for the network window and will not stop nor allow for incoming mail.
I removed
Office, reinstalled...same message. I can't use the mail accounts.
