Default Having a problem in Outlook 2000.

No, as the pst-file contains the mail.

If I start with either a clean .pst file or a new profile, what will happen
with a mail that was already on the system?

Oops, that should read "start with a clean pst-file". If you can't get
into
Outlook you can do this through Control Panel- Mail

What did these tools report back to you?

In case it is damaged beyond repair either restore from backup or start
with
a clean profile.

Hey all.

I've got a system that has two users using Outlook 2000 for there e-mail,
and one of the users outlook.pst is saying "Outlook.pst can not be
accessed." I have read about the .pst having a 2GB limit in size, and I
have
ran several scanpst.exe scans and 2gbpst.exe as well with no luck, I've
done
several antivirus and spyware scans with little to no help at all.

So I'm asking what else am I missing.

John
