Having a problem in Outlook 2000.
Hey all.
I've got a system that has two users using Outlook 2000 for there e-mail, and one of the users outlook.pst is saying "Outlook.pst can not be accessed." I have read about the .pst having a 2GB limit in size, and I have ran several scanpst.exe scans and 2gbpst.exe as well with no luck, I've done several antivirus and spyware scans with little to no help at all. So I'm asking what else am I missing. John

Oops, that should read "start with a clean pst-file". If you can't get into

Hey Roady.
I ran scanpst.exe on a smaller sized .pst file named Alex.pst, and it came up with 3 errors in 10992. Then when I clicked "Repair." I got "Not responding." messages. It seems like both OE and OL, isn't acting properly now, it takes for ever to open an e-mail in either mail programs. In terms of 2-4 mintutes.

Sorry, I read it wrong ;-) Starting a new pst-file doesn't affect the mail
already in the other pst-file. Having a problem in Outlook 2000.
Depending on the size a repair can take a whole while. The system might
think it is not responding because of that. Make sure the pst-file is on the local client and if it is a big pst-file run the recovery overnight and leave the computer alone.
