My outlook is connected to a mail server. But each time Its very slow for
downloading the mails . I want to know whether any settings could be changed
so that i will have a faster response from the server???Is there any change
of settings which improves the performance atleast about 1%???

Hi Brian,
The MTU settings are with the hands of Tech support.
There is a certain Outlook setting which helps in improvement. I think its
configuring it. I have done it a few years back but i dont remember now. Some
change in the TOOLS-OPTIONS menu.

Regards

The speed of download usually is a function of your network settings, not
Outlook. If you're behind a router, for example, make sure the router's MTU
setting is optimal.

There are no settings I know in Outlook that will improve transmission
performance. If you think there are, then have at it: experiment with all
the settings and see if any help.
