I have a client that was having an issue with his Word Normal.dot template.
It was somehow renamed and put in a different place.Malware was mostlikely the culprit. In an effort to correct this issue, I went to Add/Remove Programs and chose to change the configuration settings to the default installation. Unfortunately, all of his outlook settings were overwritten. His .pst backup file vanished. The only one I could find had old information. There are no restore points. Do you have any idea how I can recover this pst file as he needs to have a record of all of his sent files? I was able to recover his inbox from the verizon server, but they do not keep a record of sent emails sent through outlook. What do you advise? Thank you. I appreciate it. |
