Most e-mails in my Inbox disappeared..
I was out of the office Monday & Tuesday and was not able to retreive e-mail until Wednesday morning. I had 176 e-mails to retrieve. After the retrieval completed the only e-mails I now see in my Inbox are from Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Sunday's messages and all prior do not appear. Running scanpst.exe (several times) did not fix it. 1. My Outlook version is 12.0.4407.1004 2. My MSO version is 12.0.4007.1005 3. My .pst file size does not indicate messages have been deleted. So I wonder can I recover them? 4. I ran scanpst.exe and it found and repaired errors. Actually, have run scanpst.exe several times and it always finds errors. Is that normal? 4. pst file is now actually a little larger now than it was prior to repair. 5. My current view option is set to 'Messages'. 6. AutoArchive is turned off on my Inbox. 7. Starting Outlook in Safe mode makes no difference. Am I overlooking something obvious? Did a configuration setting change? How can I get the messages to re-appear? Thanks in advance. Tim |
