I have an added mailbox to my outlook setup. I created a rule to forward
from the added mailbox to another email address, and the rule does not seem to execute. I tried a similar rule on my primary mailbox, and it worked fine. Is there a reason why rules would not work on added mailboxes? Thank you |

YOu must create such a rule while logged in to a mail profile that opens that other mailbox as the priimary mailbox.

Thank you. Now, if I do that - log into the other mailbox, create a rule,
but then go back and log as the other email (my original primary mailbox), will the rule continue to execute. OR can rules only execute on your primary/logged in mailbox. It depends on the conditions and actions you set for the rule and should be easy enough for you to test.
A forward action can always run on the server. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "MarkO" wrote in message ...
