Hello! Outlook is configured to accept mail through IMAP. However, all my
sent messages in Outlook are saved only on my local folders and not on my server, so I can't check them when away from my computer. CAn I set Outlook so my sent messages are saved on the IMAP server? |

Outlook creates a local copy of the messages, but it does not remove them from the server unless you explicitly delete and purge the messages. -- Brian Tillman |

The real answer is that for Outlook prior to Outlook 2007, you must create a rule that moves a copy of the message to the IMAP Sent Items folder for outgoing messages. -- Brian Tillman |

I don't believe so. Outlook Express allows one to "store special folders
on the IMAP server", however, I've yet to find this option in Outlook 2003. As such, sent items are stored in Outook's Sent Items folder, not on the IMAP server. The IMAP account I have has a server based sent items folder and I can copy items from Outlook's sent folder to it.
