Default Copying .pst file.

I have a new computer, and I want to move my Outlook.pst file to the new one.

When I load Office 2003 on the new machine it forces me to create an email
account /user. It then becomes my "Personal Folder".

Now what I really want is my 'old' data to be put on the new machine, a Dell
laptop, and be my "personal folder", however, I can't find the default
'outlook.pst' file on the new machine. I can't find the ...\local
settings\applications\microsoft\outlook folder. Is it just 'hidden' or am I
perhaps missing something or an easier way to do this. I must not be the
first person to do this?

If it is hidden, how do I unhide it to copy over it?

Thanks,
jwb

It's hidden. Open Windows Explorer on the old PC and enter this in the
Address field:

%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Click Go.

In Windows Explorer, click ToolsFolder Options. Select the View tab and
click the "Show hidden files and folders" radio button. You should also
consider unchecking the box labeled "Hide extensions of known file types".
