Click ToolsE-mail AccountsNext. Select your account. Click Change, then More Settings. Select the Advanced tab. Check the box labeled "Leave a copy of messages on the server". -- Brian Tillman |

This problem will not happen if you using HTTP type email account like
Hotmail or MSN, so you are using POP3 email account. The configuration is easy, go to "Tools"-"Email Accounts"-- "View or change existing e-mail accounts ", press the "Other settings" button, navigate to the Advanced tab, in "Delivery" area you can choose whether retain or not the backup in your pop3 server. Please also be noted that some Pop3 servers also offer options for downloading emails, like Gmail. Hope you are totally clear about this. 'Control Panel|Mail|E-mail accounts|View or change existing e-mail
accounts', Change the "Deliver new e-mail to the following location" box to show your mailbox (Mailbox - Your User Name) instead of Personal Folders.
