Microsoft Outlook stores names/email address in the contacts folder (same
file as your e-mail) or in a file with a *.PAB extension. Do you have items in your contact folder? If yes, is the Outlook Address Book service loaded? (See Tools Email Accounts View/Change directories and address books. This is the same place you would add the "Personal Address Book" if items where stored in a file with a .PAB extension.) By the way, steps above are for Outlook 2002/2003. "ChadCarlLinsteadt" wrote in message ... I had to reinstall Windows can I recover my address book when I reinstall Outlook? Ooops... I forgot to mention that if you add the Outlook Address Book. You
have to restart Outlook and then r-click on contacts folder and select properties. Go to Outlook Address Book tab to activate the folder to be used as an address book.
