I have had considerable trouble installing LEO_setup.exe. I am running XP
Pro w/ all patches, Office 2003 fully patched, etc. I had a very had time getting the Beta Virtual Earth 3d setup to fully run. It kept ending within downloading the Virtual Earth 3d MSI file. I finally got that installed. NOW, the LEO_setup.exe does the same thing. It runs all the way to the millimeter of the slider then tells me it did not properly install and uninstalls. I have rebooted, closed running background programs, turned off anti-virus. WHAT IS IT with this add-in? Any suggestions? I assume something is corrupt but do not know where to begin looking. |

I am having a similar problem installing LEO_setup.exe on my XP, Office 2003
system. It runs all the way to the millimeter of the slider then tells me it did not properly install and uninstalls. The error message that I receive is "There is a problem with the Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." I have tried to install this file direct from the download site and downloaded to my computer for the install. Same error message regardless. Any thoughts? Thanks, Jackson "Leroy" wrote: I have had considerable trouble installing LEO_setup.exe. Jackson, after some research, I found that in fact the add-in is installed
and there is an icon on the tool bar of each contact in Outllok. Look for a yellow traffic sign for a curve in the road in the contact's toolbar. That's it- simple but unclear documentation. Installation apparently aborts due to existing install. Enjoy. "Jackson1111" wrote: I am having a similar problem installing LEO_setup.exe on my XP, Office 2003 system. The yellow traffic sign button you are referring to is built into Microsoft
Outlook, and is NOT the Windows Live Local add-in. A proper install of Live Local will add the following items to your Outlook Appointments: 1. new toolbar with a green 'Map Using...' button 2. new Location tab added between the Appointment & Schedule tabs 3. new Location menu added to the standard "File" toolbar "Leroy" wrote: Jackson, after some research, I found that in fact the add-in is installed and there is an icon on the tool bar of each contact in Outllok.
