Default Contacts are there but outlook says they are not...

Hello, rebuilt my P4 WinXP service pack2 machine. Office 2K3. Imported the
..PST file with no errors however when sending a new mail I can’t open the
contacts (the “to” button). If I click on the top I receive an error that my
contact folder was replaced or deleted but in the Outlook bar along the side
if I click contacts they all appear.
So how do I get Outlook to point to the right folder? When I tried in the
properties it only gave one option and that option would not work because
there was no name. Thanks for you thoughts.
