Still looking for an answer for below:

Thanks for being so patient with me. I did just as you said and it didn't
work. I'm assuming that when you said "pick your alumni account" you mean
the one that is coming up as "localhost" (if not, see my previous thread to
see how I set up the new POP3 account). I even tried to uncheck "send mail
items" on the other one and that didn't work. I'm really sorry again for
asking for your help....think of it as a challenge in teaching the
not-so-outlook-adept. ;-)

After that, I'm not sure what you're talking about under the send/receive
settings. If you could be so kind, would you mind sending me step-by-step
directions? I'm really not that great with Outlook (I'm sure you can

Nope, actually, the @alumni.insead.edu is kind of a ghost address.
It's

my grad school. We can assign that address so that any email sent to
@alumni.insead.edu will be sent to my yahoo.co.uk address. With the
older
Outlook, I was able to send out emails through my yahoo.co.uk POP
address,
but the recipient would only see that it was being sent from
@alumni.insead.edu. That's what I want to do with the OL03, but can't
quite
figure it out. Hope this makes some sort of sense. Thanks for

This is still supported today in Outlook 2003.

To add another POP3 account definition, pick Tools Email accounts
Add
new Account.

I had an older version of Outlook and now am using Outlook 2003
(11.8010.8107) SP2. I used to be able to send email out through my
POP
yahoo.co.uk email address, but the person receiving the email would
see
my
email as coming from a different email account ).

need
to be able to do this so I can switch yahoo email accounts when the
account
becomes swamped with spam. Does anyone know how to do this? I'm
desperate!!!
