I'm using Office 2003 on a Windows XP sp2 laptop. I'm no longer able to run
any office 2003 applications (word, excel, outlook, powerpoint, access) as userA. If I log onto this laptop as another user, I can run the applications. As userA, I get an error message "not installed for this user, please run setup". UserA has administrative priv's on this laptop. I've tried repairing Office, uninstalling as both userA and another priv'd user, deleteing the office subdirectories, and then re-installing with the same result. I've also tried recreating userA's profile. No change. I've used a cleanup tool which did not correct the problem either. I'm looking for suggestions. -- thanks so much! |
